1099- 1st Crusaders arrive in Jerusalem.








TREATY OF TORDESILLAS



1494- Spain and Portugal sign the Treaty of Tordesillas dividing the new world along with an American 370 leagues west of the Cape Verde islands, off the west coast of Africa.






KING OF FRANCE



1654- The sun King of France Louis XIV crowned King of France.







FIRST BAPTIST  CHURCH



1665- Boston's First Baptist Church, one of the oldest Baptist churches in America, is founded.







EARTHQUAKE




1692- Earthquake in Porte Royale, Jamaica kills 3,000.







ABRAHAM LINCOLN



1864- 16th US President Abraham Lincoln renominated for US President by the Republican Party.










KING AND QUEEN



1939- King of the United Kingdom George VI and Elizabeth become the 1st king and queen of Britain to visit the USA.










ISRAEL AIRCRAFT



1981- Israeli aircraft bomb and destroy a French-built nuclear plant near Iraq's capital, Baghdad.







DENMARK



2012- Denmarks parliament approved a law allowing same-sex- marriage, the law also covered same-sex weddings in the Church of Denmark.
