ARGENTINA, BOLIVIA, BRAZIL, COLOMBIA, ECUADOR, GUYANA, PARAGUAY, PERU, SURINAME, URUGUAY, AND VENEZUELA - agreed to form a Union to bolster economic and political ties signed a treaty at a summit in Brazil. Treaty created the Union Of South American Nations.
